6. To hide the LED Strip Light under the ceiling, on the wall, or under the baseboard, use the extension cord that can be purchased separately. It is not included in the package.
7. If you connect two ends of the same LED tape, that would lead to a short circuit. So don’t do that.
8. Note that one adapter and controller are used for two 32.8 ft tapes. So, if you want to use these stripes in different rooms or at a great distance, you’ve got to buy one more set of LED lights (with an adapter and controller).
9. This LED strip features IP20 protection system, so it’s not suitable for outdoor use or wet environments like swimming pools, spas, and others. Consider the set with the IP65 protection level for these purposes.
10. Once understand how the LED light works and where you’re going to apply it, let’s see how to set it up.
- Unwrap the tape, put it on the surface (or attach it to the ceiling or other surface using the sticky clips), and then measure the length of the strip:
- Remove the blue protective film (note that you’ll stick the LED strip following the principle of a double-sided tape).
- Connect the tape and the controller (check Instructions, figure D).
- Connect the controller and adapter.
- Plug the adapter in.
- Hit the ON button on the controller.
- Download the app scanning the QR code.
- Go to the app and pick the mode you like. Enjoy!
- Consult a local electrician if any problems occur.
